How to store valve seals and seals?

2022-11-3

Valve sealing ring is a fluorocarbon plastic with special properties and good chemical resistance. It rubs against metals within a wide temperature range of -190°C to +250°C without oil film lubrication.

How to store valve seals and seals?

1. Avoid heat sealing and storage. The room temperature is below 30°C to avoid the high temperature causing the seal to deteriorate.

2. Avoid air and dust. Seal seal to avoid contact with moisture. Store separately packaged. or dust in the air;

3. The seal should be avoided from strong light to avoid ozone corrosion and premature deterioration in the air. Factors that affect various sealing properties, such as mechanical seals (such as packing seals), vary, affecting temperature, media, wear, pressure and other factors.

The valve sealing ring is made of imported polytetrafluoroethylene resin and is processed through special processes. The manufacturing of PTFE gaskets is generally based on molding methods, and the vulcanization methods of molded products mainly include flat plate molding, transfer molding and injection molding. The molding vulcanization process requires strict control of the vulcanization temperature, time and pressure. The finished product after vulcanization needs to be trimmed to remove excess glue edges. PTFEO rings are usually used to seal strong acids, strong alkalis, hot or cold media, instead of other rubber rings that are not resistant to high pressure, corrosion and high temperature.
